Elon Musk is reportedly building a 14,400-square-foot mansion in Austin, Texas, to bring his 11 children and two of their mothers closer together.
The $35 million compound includes multiple properties, with a six-bedroom home near Musk’s main villa.
Musk’s family includes ex-wives Justine Musk and Talulah Riley, partner Claire Boucher (Grimes), and Shivon Zilis, who has children with Musk.
Grimes, however, disagrees with the plan, wanting a separate mansion in Los Angeles.
Musk’s vision for a family compound near Tesla’s Austin headquarters faced setbacks, including a Justice Department investigation.
Family tensions persist, with some of Musk’s older children, like Vivian, reportedly distant from him.
