Don’t Throw It Away! Use Your Unused Lens Boxes This Way
Do you have lenses boxes piled up and don’t know what to do with them? Don’t throw them away! With a little creativity and some simple materials, you can transform those boxes into useful and stylish items for your home.
1. Elegant Stone Effect Box
This box is perfect for storing crochet hooks or other small items. Its stone effect design will give a rustic and sophisticated touch to any space.

Materials Needed:
Lens box
Egg carton
White glue
Light grey and dark grey PVA paint
Clear varnish
Iron feet (or other material of your choice)
Artificial leaves and an artificial rose for decoration

Instructions:

Prepare the Base:
Cut the egg carton into small pieces and mix them with white glue until it forms a thick paste.
Apply this paste to the outer surface of the lenses box, covering it completely. Let it dry.
Apply Paint:
Once the egg carton paste has dried, paint the box with light grey PVA paint. Allow to dry.
Apply a second coat of dark grey PVA paint, using a sponge to create a stone texture effect. Allow to dry again.
Varnish:
Apply a coat of clear varnish over the entire painted surface to protect the paint and give it a glossy finish.
Add Feet and Decorations:
Attach iron feet to the bottom of the box for stability.
Decorate the lid with artificial leaves and an artificial rose, gluing them on with white glue or hot glue.
2. Elegant Sequin Box
