Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Fudge ππ°π₯Recipeππ
Ingredients:
3 cups white chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup diced candied pineapple
1/4 cup candied cherries, chopped
1/2 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
2 tablespoons butter
πDirections:
Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two opposite sides (this will help you lift the fudge out later).
Melt Chocolate: In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and salt. Melt over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth and fully combined.
Add Flavors: Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Layer Brown Sugar: Before pouring the fudge mixture into the pan, sprinkle the brown sugar evenly at the bottom of the pan. This will give that caramelized flavor reminiscent of pineapple upside-down cake.
Add Fudge Mixture: Pour the fudge mixture over the brown sugar in the pan.
Add Pineapple and Cherries: Evenly sprinkle the diced candied pineapple and chopped candied cherries on top, pressing them slightly into the fudge.
Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator and allow the fudge to set for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
Serve: Once set, use the parchment paper overhangs to lift out the block of fudge. Place on a cutting board and cut into squares using a sharp knife.
Enjoy your Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Fudge! It's a delightful twist on two classic desserts.
