Ding Dong Cake 🍫🍰 Recipe👇👇

🥰👉Ingredients:

For the Cake:

1 box chocolate cake mix (and ingredients it requires, often water, oil, and eggs)

For the Filling:

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow creme

For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 cup heavy cream

8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

👉Directions:

Cake:

a. Prepare the chocolate cake according to the package instructions.

b. Pour into two round cake pans and bake as directed.

c. Allow the cakes to cool completely.

Filling:

a. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.

b. Gently fold in the marshmallow creme until well combined.

c. Place one cake layer on a serving plate or cake stand. Spread the filling over the top.

d. Place the second cake layer on top of the filling.

Chocolate Ganache:

a. Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it just begins to simmer.

b. Pour over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for a few minutes.

c. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.

d. Pour the ganache over the top of the cake, spreading it so it drips down the sides. Let it set before serving.
